Personal Travel Designer (Travel Agent) – Ski Vacations

The Travel Whisperer (TTW) is looking to hire an experienced travel agent, ideally with experience in luxury Ski Vacations. The TTW Personal Travel Designer position is responsible for revenue generation, lead management and conversion of our inbound lodging reservations. This includes but is not limited to oversight of bookings contracts and payments, special handling of repeat and VIP Clientele and revenue strategies. It requires a highly organized and engaging individual who has experience in the luxury vacation rental market.


  • Revenue generation through booking luxury rental properties for our clients vacations
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of our destinations and top performing properties
  • Manage communications (phone, email, text) for incoming inquiries for rental properties
  • Email price quotes, send and receive booking contracts, process payments
  • Actively communicate with past guests
  • Stay up to date on all booking policies, minimum night stays, promotions
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all Wholesale partners
  • Provide inquiring guests the most accurate information related to rental inventory, specific residences, geographical locations, amenities, and questions related to the local area
  • Ensuring booking accuracy before transitioning the guest to a Vacation Planner (concierge), including data gathering and documenting of guest preferences and/or special requests
  • Develop thorough understanding of reservation software systems

  • Experience with Salesforce considered to be an asset
  • Knowledge of Ski vacations is highly preferred
  • Guest service experience in the high-end hospitality sector is preferred
  • Existing portfolio of clients preferred

Reports to: Director of Sales

The Travel Whisperer offers its employees:

  • Salary between $40k – $50k (dependant on experience) + uncapped commission, typically between an additional 30-70% of salary
