Overview

Linyanti Ebony Camp is an intimate and family-friendly safari camp in the Linyanti Wetlands. Overlooking the Linyanti Marshes, the camp provides panoramic views of reed and papyrus-lined waterways teeming with wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, and zebra.

The camp’s location offers guests an intimate safari experience in a region renowned for its diverse ecosystems, including wetlands, woodlands, and open floodplains. The area’s varied habitats support abundant wildlife, with the Linyanti Marshes, which serve as a crucial water source during the dry season, attracting a multitude of animals and providing exceptional game-viewing.

Rooms

The camp features four spacious tents, including a dedicated two-bedroom family tent, all elevated on raised decking to provide unobstructed views. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom, with both indoor and outdoor showers. The family tent includes a self-contained lounge area, offering a private space for relaxation and quality time together.

The tents are built using eco-friendly materials such as warm wooden elements, stone details, and natural textiles. Private balconies attached to each tent provide an ideal setting for morning coffee or evening sundowners.

Linyanti Ebony’s amenities include a dining room, lounge, and bar, all with stunning views of the marsh. A plunge pool provides a refreshing retreat during the heat of the day, while the campfire area serves as a communal gathering spot for evening storytelling and stargazing.

A Typical Day

A typical day begins with the gentle light of dawn filtering through the canvas, accompanied by the distant calls of wildlife stirring in the reserve. After a refreshing cup of coffee or tea, guests embark on an early morning game drive, guided by experienced trackers who navigate the diverse ecosystems in search of elephants, hippos, and the elusive sitatunga antelope.

As the day cools, guests enjoy high tea before setting off on an afternoon activity such as a walking safari, mokoro excursion, or another game drive. Sundowners are savored in a picturesque spot as the golden hues of sunset paint the horizon. Evenings feature communal dining under the stars, where stories of the day’s adventures are shared, concluding a day immersed in the beauty and tranquility of Linyanti.
