Each air-conditioned suite at Mashatu Lodge is tastefully decorated, featuring impressive black and white prints of Africa’s most beautiful animals. The suites include a double bed and an extra-large single bed, along with a seating area that comprises a single-day bed, comfortably accommodating families.

The spacious en-suite bathroom offers both a bathtub and shower facilities, as well as a separate WC.

A Typical Day

An early morning wake-up call is followed by a light breakfast before guests embark on a guided game drive or bush walk. These early morning hours are when the animals are most active due to the lower temperatures.

Upon returning to the lodge, a hearty brunch is served, after which guests can relax by the swimming pools, visit the Discovery Room, or indulge in a spa treatment. Afternoon tea precedes an evening game drive, where the changing light offers excellent photographic opportunities. The day concludes with dinner under the stars.
