Rooms

Ngala’s 20 classic, colonially-inspired thatched cottages are a throwback to a bygone era. The floor-to-ceiling windows show off the landscape, while private verandas offer an ideal setting for intimate dinners. Each cottage features a luxurious en suite bathroom, double showers (indoor and outdoor), and twin hand basins.

Comfortable lounge chairs on private verandas allow for relaxation and contemplation. Additionally, there are 6 cottages (or 3 adjoining family cottages) and 1 family suite available.

Ngala Private Game Reserve is known for its lion prides, as well as the rare chance to observe African wild dogs, and always delivers an authentic safari experience. Twice-daily game drives, each of which accommodates a maximum of six guests, ensure that there are ample opportunities to explore the reserve, whilst refreshment stops allow guests to stretch their legs and appreciate their breathtaking surroundings.

Additionally, guests can embark on a guided walk to connect with the African bush, which offers a deeper connection to the land. Experience the thrill of treading in the tracks of Africa’s wild inhabitants, immersed in the scent of crushed wild grasses as you navigate through the bush.
