Tarkuni Homestead is an exclusive private safari villa that offers luxury accommodation and personalized service for guests seeking a unique and intimate safari experience.

The homestead’s design reflects the natural beauty of its surroundings, with spacious living areas, elegant décor, and panoramic views of the Kalahari landscape.

The reserve itself is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including rare and endangered species such as black rhinos, desert-adapted lions, and meerkats. Guests can explore the reserve on game drives, guided walks, or horseback safaris, led by experienced guides.

Rooms

This private, exclusive-use homestead accommodates up to 10 guests, children included. It features five guest suites nestled under a thatched roof, complemented by dedicated staff comprising a host and personal chef.

Each suite has a private outdoor deck with sun loungers and luxurious bathrooms featuring freestanding baths and showers.

Tarkuni features a cozy lounge and dining room centered around a double-sided fireplace and a wine cellar showcasing fantastic South African wines. Additional amenities include a mezzanine library, a games room, and a shaded outdoor living and dining space.

Guests can relax in a plunge pool, gather around the fire pit for a sundowner, enjoy the family-sized boma with its scenic views, and use the private gazebos for game viewing or outdoor massages. Indoor spa treatment suites, surrounded by indigenous gardens with a waterhole in front, provide further opportunities for relaxation.
