Overview
Located on a sprawling coffee plantation at the foot of Mount Meru, Arusha Coffee Lodge is an ideal retreat for relaxation as part of an East African safari. The lodge features an enclosed swimming pool, a charming terrace with outstanding views, and vast expanses of verdant gardens.
Its convenient location makes it an ideal stopover for travelers heading to nearby national parks, or travelers looking to explore the city’s cultural delights.

Rooms
The lodge is comprised of 30 Plantation Houses dotted around the lush coffee fields, which extend from the original landowner’s residence that was built in the early 1900s.
The Plantation Suites offer spacious, contemporary accommodations amidst the coffee grove, whilst the Plantation Rooms offer cozy and well-appointed spaces amongst the fragrant coffee trees. These rooms feature an inviting in-room log fire, a comfortable en-suite bathroom with both shower and bath and a charming verandah overlooking the grounds.
Amenities
Each suite features an en-suite bathroom complete with a luxurious rainfall shower and large bathtub. Other amenities include a private outdoor terrace that comes with a cozy log-burning fire place. Guests also have a 32” TV with satellite service, and tasteful decor reflecting the coffee theme throughout.
Both suite types offer additional amenities such as bathrobes, an in-room safe, a fully stocked mini-bar, and a tea and coffee station. Guests can also avail themselves of laundry service and room service during their stay.

Safari
Arusha Coffee Lodge’s strategic position as a gateway to some of Tanzania’s iconic national parks provides guests with a range of safari options. For those enjoying a shorter stopover, embark on a day trip to nearby Arusha National Park after breakfast.

Low Season
Pricing is more affordable in most safari destinations during the rainy seasons. However, it’s important to remember that Tanzania is a fantastic year-round destination with excellent deals available in the low season. Visiting during these months also allows you to avoid larger crowds!
